Welcome to the Eagan Dance Team. Winter tryouts are open to all that will be in 7th through 12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
Dance Team is a very UNIQUE athletic activity, which combines physical endurance, strength, and agility while entertaining and competing. This athletic sport requires an investment of time and dedication. Athletes will receive many valuable experiences from being a member of the team including conditioning, continued dance technique training in a variety of styles, how to work with a team and lead by example. Dancers will also learn the importance of sportsmanship and building positive self-image and confidence. EDT is a family and we strive to push each other everyday.
New This Year: B-Squad Jazz Program. This is open to 7th-8th graders that want a smaller time commitment, but still be apart of EDT. This team practices 2 days a week and competes at all conference and invites with EDT. We are excited for this new program and can't wait to get started.
EDT Summer Youth Camp
We are hosting a summer clinic on June 11th for K-5th graders. Come join us for a day of fun and dance!
2023-2024 Season
The Wildcats finished off a great season this year with placing in many competitions, as well as being ranked 10th in Jazz and 12th in Kick for the second half of the season. This team keeps pushing themselves to the next level and we can't wait to see what is to come next season!
