To All Wildcat Track and Field Athletes, Parents, and Guardians:

We have gotten through a very busy, but very productive two weeks of our season. Though the athletes are tired, they should be very proud of their performances. The varsity team put in a strong performance at the SSC Relay meet, finishing 2nd out of the 10 conference teams. The JV team has had three meets over the last two weeks with many of our athletes attaining personal bests for the season. Each of our young men should be proud of how much they have improved so far this season.

We are now beginning the championship stage of our season. On Tuesday, May 7, the varsity men's and women's team will  host the Section 2AAA True Team championship meet. This meet has a unique scoring format where every athlete who completes a race, or establishes a mark in their event scores a point for the team. The top scoring team automatically qualifies for the state true team meet on May 17.

There will be an admission charged for the True Team section meet.

On Friday, May 10, our JV team will travel to Farmington for the JV South Suburban Conference Championship (East) meet. They will be competing against the other 4 easternmost teams in our conference. This will be the final JV meet of the season. 

On May 21 and 22, we host the South Suburban Conference championship meet, and on May 29 and 31 we travel to East Ridge HS for the Section 3AAA Championship Meet. Competition for the section meet will begin at 9 a.m. both days.
