EHS Softball Program Information

WELCOME

**ALL ATHLETES NEED TO HAVE TENNIS SHOES AND CLEATS WITH THEM EACH AND EVERY DAY**

COVID 19

MASK ARE STILL MANDATED FOR ALL.

We will be doing our best to keep Athletes 3 to 6 feet apart at all times outside of normal game play.

We will have hand sanitizer for them use when rotating between stations.

No sharing of any equipment. (If you need help with this, please let me know.)

No sharing of drinks or food. Please come with your own water bottle each day.

Symptoms of COVID-19 can include cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell.
Please have your athlete stay home if they have symptoms. I know I have the attendance policy, but we are of course in a special situation and better safe then sorry. The Coaches and I will work with athletes if time was missed due to symptoms.

Asking the Athletes to keep their social circles as small as possible. They should not be participating in other non EHS programs during our season. If they do, they are putting both programs at risk. This has shut down other EHS sports for two weeks, hoping we can learn from them.

General Information

We will have the same jersey/uniform as what we should have worn last year. Jersey, white pants, royal blue belt, white socks, royal blue matte helmet.

Reminder, any athlete who will be playing any position in the infield at any level, is going to be required to wear a softball face mask. Please ensure your athlete has one if she plans to play infield. If you need help with this, please let me know.

Games start the third week with first game day being Tuesday, April 13th (17 game conference schedule & 3 game tournament on a Saturday)
Once we are outside, each team’s coach will set the practice schedule.
Weather updates for games and practices will be on the front page of our EHS softball web page. An email blast will also be sent out.
The game schedules are online on our EHS Softball page & South Suburban Conference site. Eagan (southsuburbanconference.org)
We only bus to the away games. All players will need rides home from away games.
7th & 8th graders may need to get out early for away games, depending on opponent.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Eagan TV will be broadcasting several games this season. Thank you to ETV for their continued support of Eagan High School Sports programs. The following games will be broadcast.
