Athletic Clubs at EHS

The athletic clubs below have met ISD 196 requirements to be recognized by Eagan High School.  Athletes that participate on these teams have the opportunity to earn varsity letters from EHS as well as the ability to earn local, state or national awards from their respective governing bodies.  These clubs are not sponsored by nor are they overseen by the Eagan High School administration.  Refer to each club for more information regarding it.      


Fishing Team

The Eagan Fishing Team is a competitive team with a passion for fishing. We seek to grow our knowledge of the sport and are committed to protecting and preserving our natural resources for future generations to enjoy.

- Choose from live and virtual events from May to September

- Local Twin Cities lakes and longer distance options available

- Sign up with or without a boat (boat ownership not required)

- All skill levels welcome, from beginner to advanced

- Opportunities to win prizes and scholarships!

- Co-ed extracurricular sport open to all students in grades 8-12

- Monthly team meet-ups throughout the year

Eagan Clay Target Club

Join Minnesota's safest high school sport! The team is an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for students 6th-12th.  All student athletes have an equal opportunity to participate - regardless of skill or experience.  Our team is made up of students from DHMS, BHMS, and EHS.  The team meets once a week at the West End Trap Club in Eagan with an optional opportunity to participate in the annual state trap tournament. ISD 196 Coed Mountain Bike Club

The ISD 196 Mountain Bike Team is made up of 6th -12th graders from all the ISD 196 schools. We are an all inclusive coed club that encourages riders of all abilities. For those riders that are looking for a competitive environment our club also trains for a fall race league governed by the Minnesota Chapter of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). Racing is an optional component of our club that is encouraged but not required. Contact Coach Plantz or check out our site for more information!
